Thai star Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee will be taking a short break from acting. The actor, who turned 26 on March 21, announced his decision as recent fan event. Known for his roles in various BL series, including 2019’s He’s Coming to Me and 2021’s Bad Buddy, Ohm became popular worldwide after joining GMMTV. Thai Actor Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee To Take A Short Acting Hiatus To Study Abroad, Fans Offer Their Support
At a fansign that took place in Chongqing, China, Ohm Pawat revealed his plans to study abroad. The fan who interacted with him at the event was shocked, but still wanted to wish him well for the future. Despite the suddenness of the announcement, it was clear that the actor was determined to better himself by studying.
Informing supporters that the study programme would last for 3 months, he added that it would take place in Australia. He did not disclose which university or exact field it would be in. However, Ohm confirmed that he wanted to refine his language skills, presumably English, while in the country. He also hopes to touch upon other interesting areas. His departure is scheduled for April 2026.
Notably, the actor had obtained his Bachelor’s in cinema and digital media while pursuing his acting career. Therefore, this break does not mean that he will quit acting. In fact, he clarified that he will complete filming the upcoming show Surf ‘nʼ Love once he returns from abroad.

Most fans have taken the announcement positively, hoping that this short foray to Australia helps him become a better artist and actor. Ohm Pawat was last seen in the Thai series My Cruel Cutie, which aired its last episode in 2025.
