Thai actor Nadech Kugimiya has announced that his upcoming wedding to Yaya Urassaya Sperbund will have three ceremonies. Spread across Thailand and Norway, the Thai celebrity marriage is one of the most anticipated events of the year. While he refrained from disclosing the dates of these weddings, he revealed other details, including whether the viral claim of 10 million baht (approximately $318,000 USD) spending is true. At a recent interview with a Thai publication, Nadech Kugimiya revealed several specifics about his upcoming nuptials to Yaya Urassaya. Earlier, it was found that the couple wished to celebrate different cultures. They will hold three wedding ceremonies: one in Norway, one in Khon Khaen, and one in Bangkok.

The Khon Kaen ceremony will be in Isaan-style. Small, traditional, and attended by family and only the closest of friends, he backtracked when asked about the event venue. Saying he wouldn’t give out exact details, he assured fans that photographs would be shared publicly. Speaking to a Thai news outlet, he admitted preparations for this one were about 90% completed.

About the wedding in Norway, he said prep was about halfway done. Nonetheless, he thought that the preparations were moving fast. According to Nadech, it was likely that both the Khon Kaen and Norway ceremonies would gear up together.

The Bangkok event was specifically for those friends who would be unable to travel. Khon Kaen is located in the Northeastern province of Isaan, far from the capital. Therefore, this one would celebrate in the city where the Nadech- Yaya couple live and work.

Stressing that no one event was more important than the other, Nadech added that the order of the ceremonies didn’t matter to them as long as they got to celebrate their love with those closest to them.

Nadech also spoke about the absurd rumours that wedding costs had gone up to 10 million baht (approximately $318,000 USD). While he was quite generous with money, he admitted that Yaya was his rational counterpart. Therefore, even the combined cost of all three weddings was not close to 10 million baht.
