New Updates On Allu Arjun Arrest
The case stems from a tragic incident on December 13, 2024, when chaos erupted at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre during a promotional event for Pushpa 2: The Rule. Allu Arjun, alongside music director Devi Sri Prasad, was present at the venue, drawing massive crowds eager to see their favourite star. The gathering spiralled out of control, leading to the collapse of the theatre’s main gate. The ensuing stampede claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman while leaving her 9-year-old son critically injured. Following the incident, Allu Arjun was arrested and taken into judicial custody for 14 days. He was later granted interim bail for a period of four weeks on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. However, procedural delays caused the actor to spend an additional night in jail before his release.
Post his release, Allu Arjun expressed his regret over the tragedy and extended his support to the victim’s family. However, he refrained from visiting the grieving family or the injured boy, citing legal advice. Despite not being physically present, the actor reassured that he remained committed to assisting the family, particularly concerning the child’s medical care and their overall well-being.
The Telangana police, meanwhile, appear determined to pursue the case further. Their decision to challenge the bail indicates a stronger push for accountability and thorough investigation into the mishap. The development is being closely followed, given Allu Arjun’s immense popularity and the mounting legal complexities.
