Telangana Government Issues Legal Notice To Diljit Dosanjh, Bans Songs Promoting Drugs At Hyderabad Concert!

Diljit Dosanjh is conquering the world with his extraordinary talent. From singing to acting, he is making and records! His ongoing Dil-Luminati Tour has created a stir on the internet. Well, the Punjabi actor and singer got embroiled in a few controversies too. Earlier, his tour faced backlash from a dancer for disrespectful management, and now, ahead of his Hyderabad concert, the Telangana government has prohibited songs promoting drugs, violence, and alcohol.
Diljit Dosanjh Gets Notice From Telangana Government Ahead Of His Hyderabad Concert
As per news reports, the Telangana government issued a notice to the organisers of Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Hyderabad. It was issued by the District Welfare Officer of the Department of Welfare of Women and Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Rangareddy and stated that songs promoting alcohol, drugs, and violence are prohibited during the event. Furthermore, it also restricts the use of children on stage during the performance. It also stated that loud sounds and flashing lights at the concert could be harmful to children.

After the notice was issued, social media users had mixed reactions to it. One social media user raised a question, “Then why the hell liquor consumption is legal in India?” While another user wrote, “We will be better off society when classical Hindustani music is promoted!” In the notice, they also included a video from Diljit Dosanjh’s previous concert as evidence. It was mentioned that Diljit Dosanjh had previously performed songs promoting alcohol, drugs, and violence at a live show in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi last month. Moreover, earlier, an athlete shared that Delhi stadium was in poor condition after the Dil-Luminati Tour.
