Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Gaurav Gera has become a massive success at the box office. Fans have been loving the acting, story, and music of the film, and it has been all over social media. In recent updates, even the Indian cricket team took time out on a Monday night to watch the film at a multiplex in Lucknow. They had arrived in the city earlier, ahead of the fourth T20I match against South Africa on December 17.
Indian Cricket Team Watch Dhurandhar
After scoring a 2-1 lead in the five-match series, the Indian cricketers decided to take time off and watch Dhurandhar. The entire auditorium was booked for them for the 8:10 PM show at the Phoenix Palassio mall multiplex. It included the likes of coach Gautam Gambhir, captain Suryakumar Yadav, vice-captain Shubhman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and more in their comfortable attire to watch the blockbuster in the theatre.
The company had reserved the entire Audi No. 10 exclusively for the team, keeping in mind the safety and comfort protocols required for star players. Only the players and their support staff attended the screening. Hosting the champion team in Lucknow was described as a pleasure, with the contingent comprising 40 members in total. The players left the venue at 12.10 am.
After arriving at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, the Indian squad booked into the Hyatt Regency Hotel, while the South African team slept at the Hotel Renaissance. Both teams are expected to practise at the Ekana Stadium on Tuesday. Stadium management is completely prepared to host the international match on Wednesday. T-shirt vendors’ makeshift kiosks have already begun to appear around the stadium. Special traffic control strategies are also in place to manage the expected crowd and ensure that teams and spectators can enter and exit safely.
