Taylor Swift captioned her engagement pictures with the line, “Your English teacher and Gym teacher are getting married”, and this line is a metaphorical reference to her song ‘So High School’ in which she sings a line, “Truth, dare, spin bottles. You know how to ball, I know Aristotle.”

2. The 13th Connection
Taylor Swift has revealed previously that her favourite number is 13 and it’s evident in many professional and personal life choices she makes. Therefore, some connection to 13 had to be there in her engagement announcement too. First the pictures were dropped at 1 PM, the 13th hour. Also the date was August 26 which also comes by adding 13+13, so that’s another connection to her favourite number.

Taylor used a dynamite emoji for the caption which has a reference to the TNT sign (Taylor And Travis), and the singer also wore a TNT embedded bracelet to Travis’ Chiefs Game, and the pictures went viral on social media, with fans zooming in hard on the beautiful bracelet.
4. The Setting
Many fans are also of the opinion that the setting in which Travis proposed to Taylor was very much similar to the song ‘Lover’ and well, it’s hard to disagree.
