Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal made a lot of headlines during her time in the house. But her latest controversy after leaving has been grabbing headlines on social media. Her stylist, Riddhima Sharma, has accused her of not clearing payments, failing to return her ensembles, and looking down on designers and stylists. Read to know more about it here.
About Tanya Mittal
On Wednesday, December 10, Riddhima Sharma took to her Instagram and shared a detailed post about Bigg Boss 19 star Tanya Mittal not clearing her dues. She expressed her frustration and claimed that her team also treated her poorly. The stylist also shared a note alongside showing Mittal being questioned about her sarees. She wrote, “I have always supported Tanya in every interview — you can check all my interviews, the bytes I recorded, the celebrity voting videos, the supporting videos… even in her own interview, I was supporting her.”
Riddhima explained that people often confuse the roles of a designer and a stylist, and she emphasised that she was the one handling the styling. For an entire week, she personally arranged all the sarees and lehengas, each of them costly and from well-known brands. None of the outfits had been returned, and the team clearly liked them, yet she never received any acknowledgement or gratitude.

Riddhima said Tanya Mittal’s team told her to arrange an outfit and warned that she wouldn’t be paid if the saree didn’t arrive. She felt their behaviour was unreasonable, especially since they needed an outfit two hours before heading to Siddhi Vinayak. She still managed everything quickly and even paid for the delivery herself. She emphasised that Bigg Boss pays 50k a week, while the outfits she provided were all expensive, yet she charged very little.
She added that when she said she couldn’t source anything because she was in another city, they threatened to withhold payment, and only then did they transfer the week’s amount. She also pointed out that previous outfits, two Weekend Ka Vaar looks, the Grand Finale outfit for the client’s brother, and the latest outfit were still unpaid. She said she always delivered on time and felt the team’s attitude was disrespectful.
