Popular stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra recently found himself in the middle of another big controversy after his remarks over Eknath Shindi. This comes after India’s Got Latent row, which made comedians across the country anxious about their jokes. In recent updates, his fellow from the industry, Tanmay Bhat, also reacted to the controversy, saying that he gets a call whenever a comedian gets into trouble.
Tanmay Bhat On Kunal Kamra Controversy
Recently, Tanmay Bhat posted a video on his YouTube channel where he engaged in a discussion with comedians Rohan Joshi, Aditya Kulshresth, and Kaustubh Agarwal. Tanmay opened by stating that it had been an ‘interesting week for comedy’ and shared that he began receiving messages and calls concerning his welfare following the backlash faced by Kunal Kamra. “Whenever a comedian encounters issues, I get a message saying, ‘Tanmay, are you alright?’” he remarked.
Following this joke, Aditya, aka Kullu, expressed his surprise at how Tanmay Bhat didn’t land on any controversy since he too had appeared on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent.
