The ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj witnessed the presence of prominent film personalities as Boney Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Nimrat Kaur participated in the grand spiritual gathering. The massive religious event, known for its significance in Hindu tradition, saw these celebrities taking a holy dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam, embracing the spiritual essence of the occasion.

Actors Visit Maha Kumbh

Renowned film producer Boney Kapoor visited the Maha Kumbh Mela on Sunday to immerse himself in the holy waters of Triveni Sangam. Recalling his previous visits to Prayagraj, Kapoor reflected on the spiritual energy of the place and expressed amazement at the sheer scale of the event. Having visited Prayagraj on different occasions, including a personal visit to immerse his grandfather’s ashes, Kapoor was taken aback by the magnitude of the crowd and the deeply rooted faith displayed by devotees.

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia also took part in the religious festivities by performing rituals and taking a holy dip at Triveni Sangam. On the same day, she unveiled the teaser for her upcoming supernatural thriller, Odela 2. The film, a sequel to Odela Railway Station (2022), shifts from crime thriller elements to supernatural themes, showcasing Bhatia in a powerful role as Shiva Shakthi, a guardian figure protecting against evil forces. The story of Odela 2 is deeply inspired by the village of Odela in Telangana and delves into its cultural and spiritual heritage.

Actor Nimrat Kaur joined the religious gathering on Wednesday, immersing herself in the sanctity of the event. Sharing her thoughts on social media, she expressed gratitude for being part of such an enormous spiritual congregation. Growing up in a Sikh household, the concept of Kumbh Mela was new to her, yet the experience left her deeply moved.

The Maha Kumbh Mela, India’s largest religious gathering, began on January 12 and will conclude on February 26, coinciding with Maha Shivratri.
