Taapsee Pannu Responds To Kirti Kulhari’s Claim Of Being Sidelined During Pink Promotions

Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, and Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Pink made its mark with its strong message and feminist themes. So, it was jarring to see Kulhar mention that she felt sidelined during the promotions of the film. In recent updates, Pannu has reacted to this claim and said that she would’ve handled the situation if she had known it back then.

Taapsee Pannu Reacts To Kirti Kulhari’s Claims

During a conversation with Times Of India, Taapsee Pannu said, “She has the full right to feel the way she does. I would be the last person to tell someone what you are feeling is wrong. If someone has felt a certain way, I’m sure there’s a reason.” She said that had she known Kirti Kulhari was feeling sidelined, she would’ve talked to her and made her feel better.

Unfortunately for her, she did not know anything and said that she couldn’t discard her co-star’s feelings. Taapsee admitted that, while she and Kirti are not close friends, their professional relationship has remained stable. She stated that Kulhari may have seen their dynamic differently and felt a sense of detachment, but she always remained professional. Taapsee Pannu went on to say that even when they worked together at Mission Mangal, she noticed no difference and that nothing had changed professionally. Kirti, from her perspective, remained the same person she had worked with in Pink.
