Taapsee Pannu Reacts To NEET Aspirant’s Death
The actor has never stepped away from speaking her mind, and talking about issues that concerns women. She has yet again made a strong statement on the girl’s demise in Patna, a student preparing for medical entrance exam NEET. The girl was reportedly found unconscious in her hostel room in January. Later the investigation revealed that the girl died due to s*xual assault. While addressing this incident, Taapsee Pannu reminded everyone that more 79 similar cases happened on the same day, that too across the country. Speaking to ANI, the actor said that hearing about such cases on makes her sad but further highlighted how such crimes had been normalised. Taapsee Pannu added that the fact how such crimes are normalised despite the rising number makes her angrier.
As per a TOI report, the CBI has taken over the case and they started their investigation from the hostel where the girl was found unconscious. As per the report, a 18-people CBI team reached the girl’s house in Jehanabad and began with the questioning. The case has been entirely transferred from the Bihar Police to the CBI.
