24-year-old content creator Misha Agarwal’s tragic suicide shocked everyone on the internet. The creator’s family revealed the reason for her suicide to be her declining Instagram followers, which has led to heated debates on the effects of social media on a young mind. Now, Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has also reacted to the same and said that this incident was ‘heartbreaking.’

Taapsee Pannu On Misha Agarwal’s Death

On Wednesday, April 30, Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu took to her Instagram stories and penned a note for Misha. She wrote, “This is something I long feared seeing the obsession of a lot of people around. Fear that a day will come, the numbers here will overpower the love to live.” The actress highlighted her concern over the desperate need for ‘virtual love’ among people these days, which overpowers real love. More On Her Death

Sharing about their daughter’s death, Agarwal’s family said that the content creator had built her whole life around having 1 million followers on Instagram and gaining the love of fans. Since her following started declining, she became distraught and even felt worthless. Her sister shared that since April, Misha had been deeply depressed and constantly asked her if her career was over, even after having a law degree. Though her family comforted her and told her that Instagram was not the only part of life, this continued to happen.

Her sister’s statement read, “I reminded her of her talents, her LLB degree, and her preparation for PCSJ, telling her that she’ll become a judge one day and doesn’t need to worry about her career.”
