She added that one is either paying to push themselves, which was one version of doing PR. She also said that people are also paying to push someone else down. The Hasseen Dillruba star questioned when one’s success started depending on someone else’s failure.
Taapsee also shared that people have been creating a new facade of their personalities because they need relevance. The actress expressed that she is not okay with just being there in a hit movie; she also needs to have a strong voice. She shared that one has to create a voice, adding, “And that voice that you are trying to create beyond films is not matching with the work you are doing.” Taapsee also spoke on how she spends money on herself and her loved ones instead of “planting articles.”
