Super Junior’s Choi Siwon Faces Backlash For Kim Jong Un Remark

Super Junior’s Siwon recently did a joint live on TikTok. When asked what the idol does for a living, he answered by saying that he is a politician from North Korea. He then said that he is Kim Jong Un’s cousin and is working for his country right now.

Fans were enraged as the clip went viral. Many condemned Siwon’s remarks as insensitive, especially due to the fragile relationship between South Korea and North Korea. Tensions are currently high between the two countries, and Siwon joking about being from North Korea did not sit right with the fans. They also claimed that his actions are damaging the reputation of the entire group.

This is not the first time that Super Junior’s Siwon has faced backlash for his actions.
