We aren’t big fans of remakes, and here’s another one in the market. It’s the first track from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. It’s the remake of Sonu Nigam’s popular track ‘Bijuria’, and we’re glad that not much has changed from the original. The essence is intact! However, this one is more upbeat, and the actors have presented a very energetic choreography. Read on for more.
‘Bijuria’ Title Track
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s new song from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is here, and it’s a remake of Bijuria. The vocals are by Sonu Nigam, and there’s an addition of a new stanza from a female singer, and the vocals are of Asees Kaur. The remake is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Ravi Pawar. The new version has been co-written by Tanishk Bagchi along with Sonu Nigam. This version has a more upbeat music, which makes it a perfect dance song. The actors have pulled off the choreography with ease, although we are not a big fan of the hook steps. Janhvi and Varun’s look quite promising as the on-screen jodi and we cannot wait to see more of their chemistry in the film.
For the unversed, Sunny Sankari Ki Tulsi Kumari is directed by Shashank Khaitan and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Along with the two stars, the film also features Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Abhinav Sharma, and Maniesh Paul. It will hit the theatres on October 2, 2025.
We are all certainly going to vibe to this ‘Bijuria’ remake in the coming days, but the original will always remain our favourite!
