Some people say that surrogacy and adoption don’t have the same motherly feelings as giving birth. They might not feel as connected because the baby didn’t grow inside them. However, mothers who adopt or have a surrogate baby can still have that strong motherly bond. Speaking on a similar topic, Sunny Leone opened up about motherhood and why she chose surrogates and adoption!

Sunny Leone Opens Up About Surrogacy And Adoption

In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan, Sunny Leone revealed why she chose surrogacy and adoption! The Ragini MMS 2 actress stated, “I mean there’s something very special about a woman who gives birth, and I witnessed it. It is extremely intense and hats off to all the women who give birth to a child because it’s not easy. And it’s not easy emotionally, physically and then post-birth also. But I don’t have that feeling that, okay I want to give birth and would love that child more or less. So, I love all my children the same.” The Ragini MMS 2 actress further also opened up about the notions people have around adoption or surrogacy.

She stated, “Everybody’s family is different, everybody’s upbringing is different, there are so many different factors that come into all these things. Adoption is tricky because you can end up with a child who was abused in the womb and you have no idea. Maybe if their mother was taking drugs or maybe she was drinking alcohol, or smoking cigarettes to the point that it hurts their foetus. So, when the child’s born you have no idea looking at that it’s going to have psychological problems or brain damage. There’s a lot of different factors there. All I know is I got the greatest gift from god and she is it. She is a bright, young, beautiful empathetic, and loving child. She is extremely intelligent.”
