Sunny Deol To Play Hanuman In Nitesh Tiwari’s Hanuman Ft Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi

Ranbir Kapoor has a lot of exciting films in his kitty. One of his much-anticipated releases in the coming year is Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The actor will be seen opposite Sai Pallavi who will be portraying the role of Sita. A picture from the set of Ramayana surfaced on the internet increasing the buzz around the film even more. Now, another exciting news has made headlines and it’s about the actor who will be playing Hanuman in the film. It’s Sunny Deol and the actor has finally confirmed this news during an event.

Sunny Deol To Play Hanuman In Ramayana!

Sunny Deol will soon be seen in the action film Jaat. The actor was recently present for News18’s Rising Bharat Summit 2025 where he spoke about his next project which is Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The actor confirmed that he is playing the role of Hanuman in Ramayana. Sunny Deol was also asked if he was a religious person or not, to which he questioned, “Who doesn’t believe in God?” The actor also added that humans are here because of Him.

Sunny Deol also addressed the question of the role of Hanuman was challenging to him. The Jaat star said that challenging things are always welcomed by the actors and also revealed that he had yet to start shooting for the film. Sunny Deol also called the Nitesh Tiwari film one of his mega films. On the other hand, actor  Yash had also confirmed his presence in this film as Raavan.

For the unversed, Ramayana will be released in two parts- the first part will be released in 2026 and the other one will come out in 2027.
