Maharashtra woke up to a tragedy that happened on Wednesday morning in Baramati. The state’s Deputy CM, Ajit Pawar, died in a plane crash with four others. Will Sunetra Pawar Be Next Deputy CM Of Maharashtra?
According to Times Now’s report, multiple leaders of the NCP party met late Ajit Pawar’s wife, Sunetra Pawar, on Thursday. They offered their condolences and also urged her to return to the state and take charge of the party. Prominent politicians Praful Patel, Chagan Bhujbal and more were present in this meeting. Reports also indicate that the NCP party may propose her name as the next Deputy CM of Maharashtra and have Sunetra Pawar contest Ajit Pawar’s seat in the State Assembly. It is also being said that the party leaders are meeting with CM Devendra Fadnavis to discuss the same and how the NCP should move ahead.

All You Need To Know About Sunetra Pawar!
Other than being a Rajya Sabha MP, Sunetra Pawar is also a social worker and entrepreneur. It’s worth mentioning that she is reportedly the chairperson of Baramati Hi-Tech Textile Park. Additionally, Sunetra Pawar has been a member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum in France since 2011. As far as her social work goes, Ajit Pawar’s wife founded The Environmental Forum of India NGO in 2010. Sunetra Pawar is also a trustee of Baramati’s Vidya Pratishthan, an educational institution.
