In a recent turn of events, Austrian beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper has been confirmed dead after being reported missing on November 23, 2025. Her body was found in a suitcase hidden in a Slovenian forest. Her disappearance had turned into one of the most disconcerting cross-border investigations in Austria in years. What Happened?
Stefanie Pieper was last seen on November 23, 2025, after she returned to her apartment in Graz after a Christmas party. She had messaged her friend on WhatsApp that she had arrived safely, and moments later, while getting ready to take her dog, Marlow, for a walk, she sent a second unsettling WhatsApp message. She warned that there was a ‘creep in the stairwell’ and also mentioned seeing a ‘dark figure’, suggesting that someone was lurking near her building. This text was the last contact anyone received from Pieper.
Concerns around her rose when she missed her modelling photoshoot the next day, and by November 26, 2025, police officially declared her missing. After five days of investigation, on November 29, 2025, her body was found in a suitcase in a remote forest near Majsperk, Slovenia, after her ex-boyfriend allegedly confessed to strangling her, leading the investigators to her body. The alleged ex-boyfriend, who identified as a 31-year-old security guard, Peter M, was arrested in Slovenia on November 24, 2025, after police found his red Volkswagen Gold burning near the border. According to TMZ, he has subsequently confessed to Stefanie’s murder, detailing how he strangled her after a violent argument, packed her body in a bag, and drove it across the border to hide it.

Who Is Stefanie Pieper?
Stefanie was an Austrian beauty influencer and a talented makeup artists, a dog lover, and a woman that preferred to hang out with close friend who understood her beyond the curated world of social media. She was a popular name in the Austrian influencer community who had a stead following on her Instagram. She was from Graz’s Geidorf district and she primarily offered cosmetic looks, product recommendations, and aspects of her daily life. Aside from her social media presence, she was profoundly loved and valued by her close-knit network of friends, family, and her favourite pet, a Golden Retriever named Marlow.
She began working as a makeup artist in 2016 and later became a brand ambassador for the cosmetics firm IQ Beauty Of Course. She was a blossoming musician who performed under the name Stefanie Pieper Music.
