Why Was An FIR Filed Against SS Rajamouli?
When the teaser of his new project Varanasi was being shown to the crowd during the said event, unexpected technical glitches occurred which seemingly frustrated SS Rajamouli. He did not hesitate to put forth his candid thoughts about God. The director reportedly expressed that it was an emotional moment for him. Rajamouli added that he didn’t believe in God. He revealed that his father said that Lord Hanuman would take care of things for him. The director shared that after the teaser glitch he raised his voice at his dad and asked “Is this how he leads me?”
The Bahubali film helmer did not stop there. He stated that his wife admired Lord Hanuman a lot and that she views him as her friend and talks to him. Rajamouli talked about expressing his anger towards her and asking–”Is that how Lord Hanuman does things?” Rajamouli’s thoughts did not sit well with some people. According to the reports, Rashtriya Vanara Sena members allegedly filed an FIR against him for hurting religious sentiments.
