Squid Game Season 3’s lead actor Lee Byung Hun recently appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and gave out some really important details about the show in his interview. From spoilers for the finale to confirming a spin-off show for Squid Game. Here are all the deets that Lee Byung Hun revealed!
So far, the background story and exposition for the Front Man have been a mystery, with the trailer only giving us a glimpse of the character. During the finale segment of the show, Jimmy Fallon played a fun game with Lee, asking him to answer some frequently asked questions by fans. Jimmy placed two lights in front of the actor, blue for yes and red for no. The first question that the talk show host asked Lee Byung Hun was whether the players learn about the Front Man’s identity in the upcoming season. The actor replied by pressing the blue light- yes.
Lee was also asked if there is a possibility that the Front Man is not the ringmaster. To this question, the actor simply smirked and pressed both buttons, blue and red. The Squid Game lead actor’s response to this question further hinted that the upcoming Season 3 will be full of unexpected plot twists. And the Front Man’s identity reveal might open doors for more interesting plot points.
The next question that Jimmy asked Lee Byung Jae next, was if there is a possibility that the Squid Game story will continue after the third episode. The actor pressed the blue button, answering yes. “I’m not sure about that, but there is a possibility… we will never know what happens,” he said in the interview.
Lee Byung Hun also shared a hilarious anecdote, saying that he did not even tell his mother or son about the Front Man’s identity. They got to know through a neighbour and were upset that he did not tell them!

Squid Game season 3 will be available to stream on Netflix from June 27. The season will pick off right from where the second one ended. With new games, twisted plots and higher stakes, we cannot wait for the show!
