If the antics during the series airing weren’t enough, Splitsvilla 16 spectacles have carried over to social media. In a recent podcast interview with Filmygyan, Akanksha Choudhary apparently made a sour face when shown Himanshu Arora’s photograph without a shirt.
In response, Himanshu Arora posted a story, calling her out on Instagram stories. He questioned whether the reaction would be accepted if a man did the same, saying Akanksha would perhaps choose to play the “woman card” then. He thought that a reversal in roles wouldn’t be funny.
Akanksha Choudhary reposted his story on hers, telling him why she reacted that way. She said her first reason was that it was Himanshu. Second, she was careful to avoid smiling. When she did so on Splitsvilla, it “shattered a male ego” badly to the point that he kept talking of it “after the show.” Then, Akanksha ended it by saying that Himanshu did not have the qualities to be called “the word man.” Addressing his “woman” card comment, she questioned who would play it if not women. Then, she called him out for playing the card, taunting him with a “girlypop”.
Not one to let this go, Himanshu Arora criticised Akanksha for calling him a girl or “girlypop” in an argument. Especially since he was dissing her “game”. Then, he said he was happy to “girl slay” once in a while, “haggutara”.
The pair’s rivalry stems from their time in Splitsvilla 16, where Akanksha Choudhary’s smart gameplay drew the attention of host Sunny Leone. Commenting on Akanksha’s style, which pushed Himanshu into the danger zone, Sunny remarked that he ought to beware of twists when it came to her.
