Sonam Kapoor’s Garden-Themed Baby Shower Is All About Custom Decor, Cheesecakes And Grooving To ‘Masakali’
Mumma-to-be Sonam Kapoor is all set to welcome her first child with husband Anand Ahuja. Ever since her pregnancy announcement, the actress has been dropping some every pretty pictures, unleashing her maternity wardrobe. And now sharing a glimpse of her baby shower, Sonam has us all saying “aww.” The soon-to-be mother is currently in London, enjoying some family time with her husband Anand, and sister Rhea Kapoor. Taking it to her social media handle, Sonam shared multiple pictures from her baby shower that took place on Wednesday.

In the pictures, we see Sonam glowing and how, as she wraps herself in a long, pop pink pleated dress, featuring cape sleeves, and delicate embellishments around the neckline. The spring-themed, baby shower took place in a stunning garden, which was decorated with colourful flowers, a victorian-style lunch spread, and delicacies that we are currently dreaming about.
Many pictures featured Sonam Kapoor enjoying the music at her baby shower, with a special performance by artiste Leo Kalyan on the actress’ song–”Masakali.” Talking about the beautiful decor, that looks nothing short of a spring dream, every little detail was custom-made for Ms Kapoor’s special day.

We even spotted tablecloths painted with her name. The Neerja actress also welcomed guests with little handwritten notes, napkins customised with their names and a pouch full of surprises. Rhea Kapoor also shared a few pictures from the event and wrote “Such a beautiful baby shower.”
We loved every bit of these pictures, and so did Sonam’s guests, who took to their social media handles to thank the actress for “the chicest baby lunch.” Sure, this is Sonam’s aesthetic!

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja shared the news of their pregnancy, back in March this year. Since then, the actress has been enjoying her time in Mumbai at her parents’ place, and a mini babymoon in Italy.
