In a recent interview with Galatta India, the couple were asked at which moment was their favourite from the wedding and they both agreed that it was when the Kanyadaan took place. Zaheer Iqbal admitted that it was the best moment of his life and that it was very beautiful. While talking about that moment he revealed that the Kanyadaan had been delayed by 15 minutes and when they finally sat down, he held his wife’s hand and prayed. Amidst this, Sonakshi Sinha suddenly asked Iqbal if he could hear a sound. When he asked what it was, she said that the Azaan was playing. So beautiful!
The actor revealed that it was a beautiful moment as the Pandit praying, reciting mantras and Azaan was playing in the background while we were getting married. He said that it felt like divine intervention. Sinha also noted her husband’s reaction and said, “It was divine.”

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal dated for 7 long years before they finally tied the knot on June 23. They kept their relationship private until they posted pictures with each other. The caption of their wedding pictures said, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other’s eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife,” they wrote in a joint post on Instagram.
