Singer Sona Mohapatra is quite vocal about her opinions on social media. Now, she has given her review on the recently released Hollywood film Barbie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. The singer’s opinion clearly is against the majority as she found the film to be extremely disappointing. Sona Mohapatra shared her thoughts on Twitter and called Barbie a “Terrible” and “Unbearable” film. In fact, the Ambarsariya singer took a dig at the audience and wrote that the “Desi Barbies” talking loudly during the film became an added torture for her. Well, for Sona Mohapatra, there was one good part of watching Barbie and that was the comfortable seats in the Jio Drive theatre.
can’t believe I went to a theatre after eons & subjected myself to an unbearable, terrible #Barbie . That there were a bunch of desi Barbies talking loudly through the film was additional torture. Only redeeming factor was the well appointed ,lux 40 odd seater cinema in Jio Drive

Not just Sona Mohapatra, but actress Juhi Parmar also slammed Barbie for ruining the perfect illusion of the doll for young girls. In fact, she left the theatre with her daughter within 10-15 minutes of the film.

However, Barbie has got a positive response worldwide and has been hailed for dealing with themes relevant to today’s time, especially for women. It’s running successfully in the theatres. We wonder what Sona Mohapatra found disappointing.
