And we were very excited when we got the news about popular Blackpink member Kim Jisoo and actor Jung Hae-in starring together in a romantic K-drama titled Snowdrop and we have got some interesting news about it. The wait is finally over for the Indian fans as Snowdrop featuring Jung Hae-in and Kim Jisoo is all set to premiere in India in February this year.
Recently, Disney+ Hotstar made the announcement that the much-awaited series of this year, Snowdrop, is all set to premiere on the platform in India starting from February 9, 2022. The original series consisting of 16 episodes will be releasing a new episode every week on Disney+ Hotstar. Snowdrop is a period drama that revolves around the heartwrenching love story of SuHo (Jung Hae-in) and YoungRo (Jisoo) which is set in Seoul in 1987. They both are in university, and they both meet when SuHo appears in her dormitory covered in blood. YoungRo helps him to hide in this crisis but the story takes an intense turn when the real identity of Suho is revealed. Snowdrop also features Yoo In-na, Jang Seung-jo, Yoon Se-ah, Kim Hye-yoon, and Jung Yoo-jin in important roles.
Talking about Snowdrop, the K-drama recently aired its last two episodes on January 30 with incredible ratings and we can’t stop gushing as leading stars Jung Hae-in and Jisoo bid each other an emotional farewell (they are so cute). A new video was shared online from the set of the Snowdrop where Jung Hae-in is thanking the whole team, especially Jisoo. He talks about his feelings as the shooting ends, “Today is the last day of filming. It’s time to say goodbye to ‘Snowdrop. I think I’ll know once I film the final scene. Usually, when a drama ends, you feel relieved, but how do I put it? It’s bittersweet,” he said. He further added that he was really surprised by Jisoo and her character from the series as she immersed her immersed herself into acting. He also mentioned that Jisoo has bright and positive energy and understood the director’s direction quite well. The actor said, “Thank you for everything, Young Ro, and I really won’t be able to forget [you]. Jisoo is the best!” Hmm, we are already aware of the cute chemistry between these two, right?

Meanwhile, Jisoo couldn’t believe that the show was ending and had a sweet message for his co-star Jung Hae-in. The popular K-pop idol thanked him for working hard as it gave her the strength to play the lead for the first time. “I think you worked hard to lead me because it was my first time playing a lead character, so I want to say thank you so much. Thanks to you, I was able to gain strength to film, so I really, really appreciate it,” she said.
