Smriti Mandhana Breaks Silence By Confirming Wedding With Palash Muchhal Is Cancelled
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, 7th December, Smriti Mandhana posted an emotional story confirming the news of her wedding cancellation. In the statement, she acknowledged the ongoing speculations about her private life and announced that her wedding, which was previously postponed, has been called off. She also said that she wants to close this chapter of her life and move on. Mandhana also requested privacy during this time and thanked fans for their support.
Palash Muchhal also broke his silence on the matter by posting a statement on his Instagram story. The music composer said that he has decided to move on with his life, and it is very difficult for him to see people react to baseless rumours. Palash also stated that his team will be taking strong legal action against those who spread false and defamatory content about him.
About Their Wedding
Palash and Smriti’s wedding was to take place in Sangli on November 23, but was suddenly postponed after Mandhana’s father suffered a heart attack in the morning. A day later, Palash Muchhal too was hospitalised in Sangli and later shifted to Mumbai for further evaluation.
Speculations grew as Mandhana took all wedding-related posts off social media and then pulled out of the Women’s Big Bash League.
