As Smriti Irani’s return to the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi reboot marked a major turning point, conversation around motherhood, parenting, nutrition, and more began. She continued shaping the agenda with national research papers that were published on maternal health, youth and women. After attending the Time100 event in New York in 2025, Smriti represented our country during the World Economic Forum in Davos this year. She advocated deeper global cooperation to advance women’s economic empowerment and entrepreneurship.

Additionally, Smriti also attended the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. She was the chairperson of the Alliance for Global Good: Gender Equity & Equality. She talked about the Tata AI Sakhi Immersion Program, where more than 1,500 rural women artisans and entrepreneurs engaged in AI learning modules aimed at elevating productivity, market access, and financial independence.

Smriti Irani Gives Bhagavad Gita’s Example

During the event, Smriti Irani gave the example of the Bhagavad Gita. She mentioned that artificial intelligence can guide women just as Krishna showed the way to Arjuna. She also empowered women by saying that, by participating in India’s technological revolution, women should also shape and lead it. 

It’s worth mentioning that Smriti Irani represents a vision where women are at the heart of decision-making and shaping the agenda.
