Actor-turned-politician Smriti Irani’s famous TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is returning, and fans are excited. But in a recent conversation, she revealed a crucial motivation she called ‘Agneepath moment’ that shaped her remarkable journey. Irani revealed that her mother was forced to leave the house because of not have a son, and how it motivated her to do what she did. Read to know more.

What Smriti Irani Said

During a chat with Karan Johar on Mojo Story, Smriti Irani was asked which song best represented her life, to which she replied, “I am avenging possibly every kid who never had an opportunity to equally compete. Agneepath, the original version, was about a son who was trying to fulfil his mother’s desire.” She revealed how the motivation to get her mother back and put a roof over her head was Agneepath for her.

Meanwhile, Smirit Irani’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, one of the most successful Indian soap operas of all time, returns for season two. Some of the series’ original cast members have also returned to reprise their roles nearly 17 years after the final episode of Season 1 aired. Amar Upadhyay, who is slated to reprise his role as Mihir Virani opposite Smriti Irani as Tulsi Virani, has revealed when the show would premiere.
