Did SM Entertainment Address Aespa Winter’s Dating Rumours With BTS Jungkook? Here’s What They Said

Dating rumours between BTS Jungkook and Aespa Winter have been circulating for a while now. However, this past week, they intensified after the K-pop idols were spotted allegedly having the same tattoo on their arms. The news went viral across social media, and both Jungkook and Winter came under major scrutiny. Now Winter’s company, SM Entertainment, has released a statement addressing the issue.
SM Entertainment Releases Statement About Aespa Winter Amid Dating Rumours With BTS Jungkook
On 10th December, SM Entertainment released an official statement announcing legal action against those making malicious comments about Aespa Winter. The comment stated that they are aware of the severity of the situation and of the posts and comments being made, including s*xual harassment, defamation, personal attacks, insults, privacy invasion, and deepfakes.

SM also informed that they have identified numerous such posts on various social media platforms and have planned to take legal action against those who damage Winter’s dignity and reputation.
The company revealed that they are pursuing criminal and civil suits against those who have defamed Aespa by creating negative posts. They have collected evidence regarding the generation and dissemination of harmful rumours, the dissemination of false information and s*xual harassment posts and the creation and distribution of mocking and distorted content
Fans have been demanding that SM Entertainment take legal action to protect Aespa Winter for a while now, and are glad that they finally stood up for their artist. Jungkook’s company HYBE has, however, remained silent on the situation.
Career-wise, Aespa Winter is currently on tour with the group titled Synk: Aexis Line. It began on August 29, 2025 and will be concluding in Tokyo on April 26th, 2026.

BTS Jungkook, on the other hand, completed his military service this year in June and will be making a comeback with BTS next year in March. The idol has been very active on Weverse in the meantime, holding live broadcasts to interact with fans.
