Netflix’s Single’s Inferno 5 just aired its last episode on February 10, and the internet has divided reactions on the finale. With ups and downs that had netizens hooked, the dating survival show concluded with five couples, the highest number since the first season. However, certain aspects of the last two episodes have drawn viewers’ ire, specifically the editing. Skewed towards Kim Go Eun and her choices, many voiced their unsettlement with the show. Read on for more information.

Single’s Inferno 5: Fans Say Finale Is Boring, Fast-Forwarded To Watch Quickly

Despite all the hype surrounding Single’s Inferno 5, the way the last episode ended left many fans upset. Apart from the final couple choices, viewers missed the reveal of jobs and ages, which is highly anticipated every year. Because of the relative anonymity, singles share their values rather than judging others by their professions.

Additionally, the show seemed focused on only one woman, Kim Go Eun, not giving airtime to other couples with sweet moments, said fans. Others missed the montages after the couples chose each other, asking why the editing cut out pivotal moments. As a result, instead of watching a mix of emotions through the couples, only indecision took the forefront.

Many said that although Single’s Inferno 5 started strong, the ending underwhelmed them. Kim Min Gee and Song Seung Il ended up together but received little time together in the finale. Fans of the couple, looking forward to watching them being romantic with each other, were left hanging. Viewers even said they were willing to watch a more well-distributed finale, even if it ended up longer. The editing has been a concern for the last few seasons of the reality show.
