Single Papa Trailer: Kunal Kemmu, Prajakta Koli Series Promises A Fresh, Fun And Chaotic Family Entertainer!

Netflix just dropped the Single Papa’s trailer starring Kunal Kemmu, Prajakta Koli, Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Neha Dhupia and more. The project not only promises comedy but also desi family chaos and the reality of raising a baby! It’s worth mentioning that this fun-filled ride has been directed by Shashank Khaitan, Hitesh Kewalya and Neeraj Udhwani. Additionally, the show has been created by Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani.
Single Papa Trailer Details
At the start of the trailer, we get the idea that Kunal Kemmu’s character, Gaurav Gehlot is a man-child aka every girl’s worst nightmare. He decides to adopt a baby, which comes as a huge shock to his family. Gaurav’s parents start speculating that he might be dealing with the “Shubh Mangal Saavadhan wali” problem. Classic desi parents! Of course, raising a baby isn’t an easy task but the trailer shows Gaurav’s learning curve in the most comedic way possible. From taking professional lessons to bringing his baby to work, he does it all.
To everyone’s surprise, Dayanand Shetty aka CID’s Daya is also a part of the show! He’s the male nanny, who we think might help Gaurav with his journey. Amid the chaos, the Gehlot family enjoys wedding festivities but guess what, the drama doesn’t leave them. Further, we see Neha Dhupia’s character Romilla Nehra, making it clear that she won’t let Gaurav adopt the baby. He challenges her which makes it an exciting ride!

Lately, our brains have become accustomed to watching boring comedy projects but after seeing Single Papa’s trailer, our faith has been restored. The trailer gave multiple comedic moments that not only entertained us but promised that this won’t be just any mindless series. We look forward to seeing Gaurav Ghelot’s transformation from being a man-child to a responsible adult. The show will premiere on Netflix on December 12, 2025.
