Honey Singh took to his social media handle to share a video of him addressing the backlash and controversy. He acknowledged the video clip going viral on social media and explained why he said what he said. The singer stated that was present at the concert as a guest. Honey Singh added that he had a meeting with the gynaecologist and s*xologist a day back where they spoke about the how the youth is having unprotected s*x. As per the singer, he wanted to give out a message to the youth on the same and tried to use a language that Gen Z was exposed to through OTT and films. However, he also acknowleged that his statement did sit well with many, and went to apologise for it. He also assured the fans of being mindful with his statements. Honey Singh also added that he would remember how many things can be edited and twisted on social media. He asked fans to keep showering love on him.
