She was later released, but many people, including her close ones, expressed concern over this. Now, as per some reports, she has voluntarily admitted herself to a treatment facility. As per an India Today report, Britney Spears is undergoing treatment for substance abuse. As per a TMZ report, the singer thinks that it’s strategically a good decision to promise rehab, as it will look good in front of the judge. However, there have been no confirmations about her admission to a rehab, nor have any statements been released by her spokesperson.
Going by the sources, the singer has voluntarily agreed to start the treatment that will last for 30 days. Her close friends have also shown support in the matter. Going by the report, the singer has realised that she has hit rock bottom after the Driving Under the Influence case.

The singer was arrested on March 4 and detained in Ventura County, California. She was arrested by the California Highway Patrol officers but was released on bail the same day. As per the reports, the officials also checked the singer for drugs and alcohol.
