On Tuesday, Arijit Singh took to his social media to pen a note about his retirement from playback singing. In the note, the singer thanked all his fans for the love that they have showered on him through the years. The statement further informed the fans that Arijit Singh would not be taking up any new assignments as a playback singer, and had called it off. The singer described his journey as a beautiful one. The singer however informed that he was yet to complete some pending assignments which meant that the fans would get some of his songs this year.
