Simi Garewal says Abhishek Bachchan is the nicest man in Bollywood!
The alleged separation rumours of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have made headlines and the audience is divided. From rumours of a rough patch in their marriage to Abhishek Bachchan allegedly cheating on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Nimrat Kaur, the rumour mill has been on a roll. Veteran actor Simi Garewal took to her Instagram to defend junior Bachchan and Farah Khan agreed.
Simi Garewal Defends Abhishek Bachchan
Simi Garewal, who is a close friend of the Bachchan family has defended their reputation before as well. But after a lot of rumours, she took to her Instagram on Tuesday, November 5, and shared a clip from her popular chat show Rendezvous With Simi Garewal featuring the Dasvi actor while calling him the nicest man in Bollywood.
Garewal did this to defend him from the alleged rumours of him cheating on his wife. She captioned her post saying, “I think everyone who knows Abhishek personally will agree he is among the nicest men in Bollywood. Good values and innate decency.”
In the clip, Junior Bachchan was talking about how it’s important for a man to stay committed to a woman even if he was just her boyfriend. He said that even though men are always accused of being disloyal, he never agreed to it and that this statement disgusted him. Reacting to the chat show hosts’s post, veteran director Farah Khan wrote, ” I fully agree. He is just the nicest guy!”
Many social media users, however, reacted negatively to the actor’s post. Several users called out Garewal for taking one’s side through the post amid speculations of a troubled marriage. One of the comments read, “Very controversial time to put out this… Not fair yaa”. One social media user accused her of “protecting” Abhishek Bachchan and ignoring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Simi deleted the post after getting trolled for it.
