Salman Khan even spoke about the wave of flops films in Bollywood and what could be the possible reason behind it. What Did Salman Khan Say?
Salman Khan shared his thoughts on why there are many flop films in the industry and what could prevent it from happening. Salman Khan opined that if a film is bad, it won’t work at all including his films. He also added that if a film has been made well, and it’s liked by the audience then it was a good film. Salman Khan also spoke about the responsibility that the lead actor has in selling the film. He said that the actor’s face is on the poster and they share equal responsibility in bringing the audience to the film. The Sikandar actor further added that the lead star was also to be blamed if the film did not work.
Speaking about the importance and lack of good scripts, Salman Khan stated that the films were not being made for the audience instead the writing was happening for themselves because producers wanted to compete with other producers. He also added that the scripts are written to spoonfeed the audience thinking they won’t understand it, however, Salman Khan opined that the audience is smart and with the rise of OTT, they also have access to world cinema.
Salman Khan stressed the importance of good scripts and reiterated that nothing else would matter except that. However, the actor also put some hope into a better and brighter future for cinema.
