The sudden and tragic death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala sent shockwaves across the world. His fans, who thoroughly enjoyed his music, were left heartbroken and heavy with grief. The loss of such an influential artist was deeply felt by many. Now, years after his assassination, the British broadcaster BBC has released a new documentary exploring the details of his killing. However, the documentary has been met with strong concerns from Sidhu Moose Wala’s own father.
Sidhu Moosewala’s Father On The Killing Call
It is a two-part documentary titled The Killing Call, and after seeing it, the singer’s father, Balkaur Singh Sidhu, spoke out. As reported by Hindustan Times, Balkaur Singh said that the documentary tells a wrong story. He believes it makes Sidhu Moose Wala look bad. He stated that it was put online too fast to make money. The late singer’s father expressed worries that it could mess up the current court trial for the murder.
The singer was 28 years old when he died. He was driving his jeep without police protection. Attackers shot at him more than 30 times, and later, he was found in the driver’s seat. The singer’s father, Balkaur Singh, has been fighting for justice for his son. He has always tried to keep Sidhu Moose Wala’s memory alive. He feels strongly that the documentary does not help the truth come out. Instead, he believes it creates a misleading picture.
