Siddhant Chaturvedi opened up about a school incident that may just shock you. The actor recalled being bullied in school because of his physical appearance, which impacted him in a way. The Gully Boy actor was particularly bullied for his signature curly hair. However, he eventually overcame it and realised that everything is rooted in confidence. Siddhant Chaturvedi opened up to New 18 that he was bullied for the way he looked in school and that it wasn’t easy. He also stated that he used to have curly hair when silky hair was in trend. Siddhnat gave examples of how Shahid Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan had silky hair at the time. Further, the actor revealed that he would try to straighten his hair at home. Siddhant explained how his tenth-grade farewell picture was considered unworthy and “awkward” to share. However, after starting his career in the Hindi film industry, Siddhant confronted his insecurities. The actor told the publication about eventually learning that it’s all rooted in confidence and how one carries oneself. He candidly revealed that he has accepted his curls and the way he is today. The actor also shared that he just leaves the house the way he wakes up, adding that the so-called “messy look” is now in vogue, giving him the liberty to be himself.
