What Did Shwetha Menon Say?
AMMA President Shwetha Menon opened up about the FIR that was made against her during the time of the elections, when she was contesting for the President’s position. During the India Today Conclave South 2025, Shwetha Menon stated that she would make more enemies as she excelled more in life. As per the actor, the news left her shattered. Shwetha also added that the films mentioned in the FIR was done by her 12 years back and she had also awarded with a state award for some of them.
Shwetha Menon also opened up about being in a state of confusion when the FIR was filed against her. As per the actor, the FIR left her in a dilemma between leaving the election or fight the case. The actor praised her family’s support during the tough times and how it made her strong to move forward and become a “fiery tigress”.

On the other hand, Shwetha Menon also spoke about the strict working hours for women and encouraged them speak up about them. The actor also recalled an incident when she was pregnant, and that the she conveyed to the director about not being comfortable with morning and that he understood. The actor opined that dialogue could solved many issues.
