Among all the relationships we have with people in our lives, the brother-sister relationship has to be the most special. The love and hate bond that we share with our siblings is something that we do not have in any other relationship. Now apart from the occasion of Rakshabandhan, there is also a festival called Bhai Dooj or Bhai Phota, as we call it in West Bengal. This day is also dedicated to the brother-sister bond, and since I am not with my brother to celebrate this special occasion, social media has just added to my sadness here. Shweta Bachchan, on October 26, Wednesday, shared a carousel post on her social media handle to wish her younger brother Abhishek Bachchan on Bhai Dooj. The first picture of the post had Shweta and Abhishek posing for a cute picture, in which the former was absolutely expressionless but the latter actually steals the thunder. Abhishek’s annoyed expression at his sister Shweta perfectly sums up the brother-sister bond.

The second picture is where both are looking at each other and smiling, it actually makes for an adorable picture. And the last picture is also a cute one. The siblings are dressed in ethnic wear and they look stunning. Abhishek Bachchan has a tilak on his forehead, so the pictures were most likely taken after the Bhai Dooj celebrations. For the caption, Shweta Bachchan addressed her brother as “sunshine and rainbow”.

Now I miss my brother more! Although we have particular days to celebrate this precious relationship, we actually cherish this bond every day with those fights, pranks, teasing, and most importantly love!
