Yesterday, on August 4, Shreeja Chaturvedi and Aman Jotwani took to Instagram to confirm their engagement. Standing next to a smiling Shreeja, Aman held her hand, which flaunted a simple gold ring. The Instagram post read “The rumours we started are true, guys. Apna lafda official ho gaya hai”. The post quickly garnered over 85,000 likes and thousands of comments, with everything from ‘Mom and dad’ jokes to heartfelt congratulations pouring in.

On his Instagram story, Aman gave more insights about the surprise proposal.“Didn’t see it coming either. The last thing I ever expected… was for her to let me win a board game. It’s unprecedented, friends, unnatural one-of-a-kind anomaly.”
He also shared a picture of the handmade card Shreeja had created for him. In bold, colourful, hand-drawn letters, it read, “It’s a ring—You have won!!!” with a drawing of an engagement ring.
