Actress Shivangi Joshi opened up recently about something many actors go through but few openly discuss: falling in love with a co-star. During an interview organized by Directors Kut Productions with fellow actors Rupali Ganguly, Reem Shaikh, Samridhii Shukla, and Anita Raaj, the actress of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain shared a realistic and unvarnished explanation of why on-set romances occur so frequently in the world of television.
What Did Shivangi Joshi Say About Falling In Love With Co-Stars
Citing the gruelling schedule of an actor’s life, Shivangi suggested that actors tend to spend 30 days a month working on the same sets, which hardly leaves any social life outside of work. “There’s hardly any time to meet people outside. So if you’re single, and someone on set clicks with you, why not?” she answered, stating that getting attached in such intense work environments is only natural.
She also insisted that it is different for every person and their situation. “It really does depend on where you are in life and what you desire,” she said. In Shivangi’s opinion, there’s nothing unusual or abnormal about building a stronger bond with someone you collaborate with in your day-to-day life. “You get to see all sides of a person their best and worst which isn’t always the case with other relationships,” she further added.
