Ahead of its premiere on June 27, fans are eagerly waiting to catch what the upcoming season of Lock Upp brings to the table. Amid the anticipation, a reported list of contestants has been making rounds in the media. Lock Upp Season 2’s Contestant List Surfaces Online
As per a report by Indian Express, season 2 of Lock Upp will feature 14 contestants. As per the publications’ sources, Govinda’s wife Ssunita Ahuja and television actress Shivangi Joshi will be a part of the project. Along with them, Shilpa Shinde, who recently turned heads for confessing to filing a fake s*xual harassment case against the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai producer, will also reportedly be a part of season 2. Additionally, in the show’s promo, the host of the season, Farah Khan, hinted that a celebrity who recently went through a weight loss transformation will also be a contestant. After this, many reports suggested that it could be actor Ram Kapoor. Apart from that, insiders have also told the publication that podcast host Ranveer Allahbadia is also being considered for the show. The report also mentioned that the other celebrities confirmed for Lock Upp season 2 include Yogesh Rawat, Akanksha Choudhary, Vikas Gupta, Priyank Sharma, Archana Gautam, Rashami Desai, Puneet Superstar, Urvashi Dholakia, Asim Riaz, Pranit More and Harshad Chopra. However, it’s worth noting that the final 14 contestants will only be revealed on the show’s premiere.

Lock Upp season one premiered in 2022 and was hosted by Kangana Ranaut. In case you don’t know, that season was won by comedian Munawar Faruqui. The new season, Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa will be hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. In it, the 14 contestants will be given tough tasks, will have no contact with the outside world and more, potentially making it more dramatic and entertaining.
