The video quickly grabbed eyeballs on social media, with fans sending love and strength to Shetty in tough times. One user commented, “Prayers for aunty,” and “Please take care.” As of now, no health update has been announced from Shilpa’s side.
Sunanda Shetty’s illness came just days after Shilpa withdrew her request for permission to travel overseas. The Bombay High Court did not suspend a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against her and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, for an alleged ₹60-crore cheating case. On October 8, the Bombay High Court ruled that their motion to lift the LOC and go overseas would be entertained only if they paid the disputed ₹60 crore amount. The Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) had already issued the LOC, prompting the couple to seek temporary respite.
However, Shilpa’s counsel later informed the Division Bench, which included Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam A. Ankhad, that the actress had decided not to continue her vacation plans for the time being.
