In 2019, Shetty teamed up with restaurateur Ranjit Bindra, the founder of the Bastian brand. Since then, she has grown her footprint in the hospitality industry, becoming co-owner of several restaurants across India and securing a 50% stake in Bastian. As per SCREEN, even if you go for some basics like a Jasmine herbal tea or an English breakfast tea, they can cost you around Rs 920 and Rs 360, respectively. And if you wanna have some wine, well then your order can go up to Rs 1,59,500 for a Dom Perignon Brut Rose, which is a French bottle. The food is generally priced between Rs 500-1200.
The report also revealed that some favourites, pile chilli garlic noodles and chicken burrito, range from Ra 675 to Rs 900. The special burrata salad is priced at Rs 1050, while the avocado toast costs around Rs 800. While one may think that the famous Bastian At The Top is just the most popular restaurant in Mumbai, they don’t know that it is also one of the toughest spots to get into.

Bastian isn’t just the place to be; it’s a goldmine. Reports suggest the celebrity-favourite restaurant rakes in a staggering ₹2–3 crore a night. Socialite and author Shobhaa De spilt the luxe tea in a conversation with Mojo Story, revealing that Bastian hosts an impressive 1,400 guests every evening, split into two seatings of 700 each.

The restaurant’s popularity is such that eager diners reportedly queue outside in Dadar—Mumbai’s old, conservative heartland—while luxury cars like Lamborghinis and Aston Martins line the street. Last year, Shilpa Shetty addressed rumours about Bastian’s earnings, hinting that the actual figures far exceed public speculation. She also mentioned that the brand ranked among the highest GST contributors in the hospitality sector in the previous financial year.
