In a shocking turn of events, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s iconic restaurant, Bastian Bandra, shuts down after a cheating controversy. The actor took to her Instagram account to share the unfortunate news, saying it was the end of an era. Shilpa Shetty’s Bastian Bandra Shuts

Shilpa Shetty took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “This Thursday marks the end of an era as we bid farewell to one of Mumbai’s most iconic destinations — BASTIAN BANDRA.” To honour the iconic place, the actress would host a final soirée for her closest patrons, offering one last night of nostalgia. While this branch closes, the other one, called BASTIAN AT THE TOP, remains open in Dadar.

Shetty’s Bastian Bandra was the go-to place for many Bollywood celebs up until a few years ago. This would be the landmark station for the paps to take pics of celebrities going in and out for parties in Mumbai. Shilpa and Raj again found themselves in a controversy after allegations of ₹60 crore fraud levelled against them by businessman Deepak Kothari, director of Lotus Capital Financial Services Ltd. Their lawyer denied such allegations in a conversation with ANI.

He said, “But this transaction is quite old, 7-8 years old. If someone feels that they have been wronged, cheated, they would not wait 8-10 years to complain.” Deepak Kothari claimed that though the couple took the money with intentions of expanding their business, they instead used it for personal expenses.
