Famous actor and Model Shefali Jariwala lost her life recently due to unforeseen circumstances. Her fans, family, and well-wishers were beyond devastated to hear this news. While the post-mortem results are still awaited, initial medical reports suggest a cardiac arrest, which might have been triggered due to fasting and unsupervised anti-ageing medication. Here’s a timeline of events as confirmed by the police sources and medical officials.

Shefali Jariwala’s Last Hours

Late Shefali Jariwala had kept a fast on that day as part of a Satyanarayan Puja held at her home in Mumbai. Despite fasting, Shefali took her daily anti-ageing medication and received a glutathione injection. According to investigators, she was also taking multivitamins and collagen pills to keep her skin youthful. At 10:30 PM, she collapsed and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West.

As soon as they reached the hospital, the doctors declared her dead and advised the family to shift her body to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem procedures. Around 11:30 PM, the Amboli Police Station was informed about the incident. After this, a police team reached Jariwala’s residence for an initial investigation.

As per the Mumbai Police, self-medication and food poisoning may have triggered a cardiac arrest. Reportedly, the actor had consumed stale fried rice while fasting and took an unsupervised anti-ageing injection. Police and forensic science experts who investigated her home discovered glutathione vials, a medicine commonly used for skin fairness and detoxification, as well as Vitamin C injections, acidity tablets, and other over-the-counter anti-ageing products.
