Shanaya Kapoor REVEALS Why Taking Risks Excites Her As An Actor!

Although it hasn’t been too long since Shanaya Kapoor officially stepped into the world of acting, her answers about the craft and Gen-Z artists truly make her sound like a pro! Recently, she spoke about how this generation is enjoying challenging the preconceived notions and rules already set in the film industry. While talking about the unconventional casting in her debut film and recently released Tu Ya Main with Adarsh Gourav, she made it clear that as an actor, everything is rooted in taking risks for her. Taking Risks Is Important For Shanaya Kapoor

While speaking with the Hindustan Times, Shanaya Kapoor shared that it was not about proving anyone wrong. As an actor, it’s all about taking risks for her, and that is the most exciting part. She added that if one reads something and feels like, “This is something that I’ve done and let’s go back into it,” Shanaya isn’t sure how exciting it would be for her. The actress mentioned that she wants to look at something and think about whether she will be able to pull that off or not, how she will pull that off, and how she can find the truth in that. The actress mentioned that those are the things that excite her personally, and that’s where one hopes to create that magic and see that little spark when one is trying to do something new.

How Does She Deal With Hurtful Comments?

In her previous chat with Zoom, Shanaya Kapoor spoke about how she deals with people criticising her acting. She shared that if she receives comments about her acting or dancing, which may be harshly expressed or quite negative, she chooses to perceive them as constructive criticism, as she owes it to her audience to listen. Shanaya also stated that such comments may sting or might not be phrased properly but they give her a reality check. The actress revealed that when such comments make her feel low, she confides in her mother, Maheep Kapoor, with whom she is very close.

For the unversed, Shanaya made her Hindi film industry debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey.
