Talking about the same, Shanaya Kapoor revealed how such criticism makes her feel. She also stated that if one criticises her craft, her approach to that truly differs and understandably so. Shanaya Kapoor On Receiving Hurtful Comments Over Appearance
During her recent chat with Zoom, Shanaya Kapoor stated that she sought the audience’s approval. She further questioned how she could achieve that by avoiding to understand their feeling about her. Shanaya said that this is why she engages with it frequently. She further mentioned that if the comments about her appearance, including her jawline or how she looks today, come up, she chooses to disregard those. The actress revealed that such comments can hurt at times and when she tries escaping from those, it becomes challenging for her personally.

Shanaya On Receiving Comments Over Her Acting
During the conversation, Shanaya Kapoor acknowledged that there are various types of comments. She stated that if they are about her acting or dancing, which may be harshly expressed or quite negative, she chooses to perceive them as constructive criticism, as she owes it to her audience to listen. She also stated that such comments may sting or might not be phrased properly but it gives her a reality check. Shanaya revealed that when such comments make her feel low, she confides in her mother, Maheep Kapoor, with whom she is very close.
As far as Shanaya Kapoor’s professional front goes, she made her debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan and now she will be seen in Tu Yaa Main with Aadarsh Gourav. The film will be released on February 13.
